Jewel Hinson Foehser, 92, died September 20, 2016 in Amarillo.
Services and officiant: Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Washington Avenue Christian Church with Jim Shelburne, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. on Friday at Lamesa Memorial Park Cemetery in Lamesa.

Jewel Hinson Foehser was born on May 31, 1924 in Lamesa, Texas to James and Hester Gibson Hinson. She graduated from Lamesa High School in 1940.
She was married to Charles Harvard Roberts in 1942, Dixie Maltsberger in 1963, and Dick Foehser in 1989.
Jewel graduated from Draughons Business College in Amarillo in 1972. She was head of Accounts Payable for Cloth World from 1973 to 1989. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, TX Gamma Phi Master.
She moved to Mineola in 1963, to St. Louis in 1984, to Granbury in 1990, and then to Amarillo in 2006. She loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, Europe, and Oregon. Jewel loved to sew and square dance and made all of her square dance dresses.
Jewel was preceded in death by her brother, James E. Hinson.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Lynn Sexton and husband, Larry and Kathy Sheppard and husband Joe, all of Canyon; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters on the way; and numerous stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren.
