Estie L. Wade, 78, of Greenville went home to be with her Lord April 18, 2017 at her daughter's home. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Blue and Mr. John Kuhl officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Born Dec. 7, 1938, in Morgan Mill, Texas, Estie was the daughter of William H. and Hassie (Davies) Stocks. On Dec. 7, 1956, in Fort Worth, Estie married Jack E. Wade, who preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1978. She was a homemaker and worked for about 10 years as a nurse's aide at Terrell State Hospital. She was a longtime member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Estie's savior, family, and friends were her passion and delight. She never missed an opportunity to share her faith and love for her precious savior. She inspired and encouraged every person who was lucky enough to have known her. Estie's selfless and giving spirit was limitless. She found comfort in encouraging and praying for others. Her endless notes inspired and uplifted the weary and downhearted. Her relationship with her Lord was revealed in every heartfelt message. She will be missed beyond words. As she was very passionate about spreading the gospel, she had a great love for missions. Her family would like to request that memorials be made in her name to mission organizations or to church youth summer camp programs because she loved helping provide funds for children to go to camp. Her survivors include her sons, Jack E. Wade Jr. and wife Debbie of Greenville, Mark David Wade and wife Laura of Caddo Mills, and James Robert Wade of Royse City; daughter Anna Wynn and husband Michael of Greenville; sisters Winnie Underwood and husband Buddy of Burleson, Glenda Starr and husband Kenneth of Dike, and Daisy Sumner and husband Larry of Springtown; grandchildren Jack E.
