Penny Parkinson of Fort Worth, a homemaker, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Fort Worth at an assisted living facility. She was 80 years old.
A native of Granbury, born May 25, 1938 the daughter of the late Fred and Winnell Wilkerson. She attended the Granbury schools. She has been a resident of Fort Worth since 1961. She was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Benbrook.
Survivors include husband of 65 years, Charles Parkinson, two daughters: Robin Richey and husband Royce of Benbrook, Micki Davis and husband Keith of Fort Worth, four grandchildren: Matthew Huitt and wife Suzie, Kory Davis and wife Val, Rebecca Springer and husband Adrian, and Amanda Irby and husband Travis, seven great- grandchildren: Savannah and Noah Huitt, Janelle Springer, Tyler and Myles Davis, and Adaline and Lillian Irby.
Family visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 13 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury. Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Acton Cemetery.
