Walt passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 6, 2018.
Walton was born April 24, 1942 in Lubbock, TX to Bill and Juanita Clark. He graduated from Monterey High School in 1960 and completed his education at South Plains College. He was a lifetime employee and owner of Brandon and Clark, Inc. He married Debra Kay Butler on September 7, 1985 in Lubbock.
Walt was involved in the Boy Scouts and the Lubbock Lions Club. He served as the President of many organizations including the Southwestern Chapter of Electrical Apparatus Service Association, Lake Ransom Canyon Property Owner’s Association, Presbyterian Mo Ranch Assembly and served on the board of Alliance Federal Credit Union. He enjoyed teaching classes at South Plains College, was instrumental in organizing the local Crohns Disease Support Group and served as an Elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was admired and respected by employees, customers and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Clark; his son, Cameron Clark; his parents and brothers, Eugene and Michael Clark.
Loved ones include wife, Debra Clark; son, Chris Clark and wife, Debbie; granddaughters, Allison and Samantha Clark; brother, Gary Clark and wife, Gloria; and many nieces and nephews.
