Charles Richard Williams, 80, of Longview, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Mr. Williams was born on April 27, 1938.
Mr. Williams retired from Stroh Brewery after 33 years. He was an avid horseman, hunter, and fisherman. He was named Shriner of the Year in 1989 and was a loyal member of the Sharon Temple Mounted Patrol. He was loved and admired by many.
Survivors include wife of 37 years, Jeanine Williams; son Dirk Williams and wife Kay of Gladewater; step-son, Mark Cariker and wife Susan of Grandbury, TX; step-daughter, Lenecia McGee and husband Harry of Marshall; sister, Essie Thomas and husband Tommy of Carthage; grandchildren, Drake Williams and wife Lakin of Longview, and Maci Williams of Gladewater; nieces, Brittany Gaunt and husband Danny of Hallsville, and Shelby Jones and husband Tom of Carthage; great-grandchildren Elizabeth Williams and Ryder Williams of Longview; step-grandchildren, Dr. Bailey Griffin and husband Michael of Kingwood, TX, Colton McGee and wife Heather of Nashville, TN, Coleman Cariker of Orlando, FL., Kacey Nunan and husband Jim of Orlando, FL., and seven step-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 3 P.M. at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview. The family will greet loved ones and friends for a time of visitation from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. prior to the service. Mr. Williams may be available viewed on Thursday evening until 8 P.M.
