Wesley "Wes" Earnest Lindley, 70, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
Wes was born July 17, 1948 in Dimmit, TX to Sam and Vara Lindley of Brownwood, TX. He graduated from Brownwood High School and worked in a meat packing plant most of his life. Wes grew up on the lake, his parents owned and operated the Kirkland Docks on Brownwood lake and that probably spawned his love for fishing. He was an avid fisherman that believed there was no better day than to be on the lake fishing and spending time with family. Wes married Linda Cleveland on February 25, 1968 and was blessed with two sons from this union. Wes and Linda had been married for fifty years at the time of his passing.
Wes is survived by his wife, Linda Lindley; a son, Thomas Lindley and wife from San Marcos, TX; A brother, Loyd Lindley and wife Pam, an Aunt Christine Zorn; and two wonderful grandsons, Johnathan Lindley of Pflugerville and Cameron Lindley of Lubbock, TX.
Wes was proceeded in death by his parents; and a son, Shayne Lindley.
The family will be planning a private family memorial at a later date.
