Dionicio Esquivel Jr. was born on April 20, 1954 to Rosa and Dionicio Esquivel Sr. in San Antonio, Texas, where he remained a lifelong resident. Was granted eternal rest on September 12, 2018 at the age of 64.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Peter Esquivel Sr. and Jose Esquivel.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Esquivel; his sons, Dionicio III, Henry and Ruben; granddaughters, Lisette, Rosa, Brittany Rose and Brianna Nichole; brother Martin Ramirez Sr. and sister Lile Reyes; numerous family members.
He graduated from Edgewood High School. He worked for 5 years with the Bexar County Sheriff Department and as a truck driver for 38 years for Tiger Sanitation and various other trucking companies.
For those who knew Dionicio, he will always be remembered for his strong work ethic and his love of working on vehicles and dancing. He also enjoyed having his cold Busch beer along with some KFC wings.
He will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
