Randall Blann Reeder

Randall Blann Reeder, 61, left this world to begin his next big adventure in Heaven on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, after a hospital stay and complications due to a head injury in Arlington, TX.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at Trinity Metropolitan Community Church, 933 E. Avenue J, Grand Prairie, Texas, 75050. Arrangements are being handled by Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home.
Randy was born Feb. 12, 1957, in Tulsa, Okla., and grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas. He graduated Richland High School in 1976. To know Randy was to love him. He never met a stranger. Randy embraced life with a Godgiven curiosity about people that allowed everyone around him to feel like they were his best friend. He was creative and enthusiastic about every endeavor he pursued and was so very artistically talented. Randy loved festivals, carnivals, holidays, parades, and for him nothing was off-limits. He was so full of life. Inside Randy was a sense of wonder and awe about the world that created a light about him for everyone to see. He was Peter Pan, Harry Potter, and Willy Wonka rolled into one. We will never know another person like Randy, and we miss him so much already. Randy was predeceased by his father, Oscar Reeder; and six days before by his adored sister, Terri Reeder Coleman.
SURVIVORS: Randy is survived by his husband and partner in life of over 40 years, James Drown "JD." He is also survived by his mother, Lena Mae Reeder; brother, Ed and wife, Kathy; brother, David and wife, Susan; brother, John and wife, Nora; brother, Thomas and wife, Belinda; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
