Howard Dale Defibaugh of Granbury Texas passed away October 1, 2018 to God’s grace. He died at home after a long illness with his wife was by his side holding his hand.
Howard was born July 14, 1942 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Leonard and Mildred Defibaugh. He graduated from Norman High School in 1960.
Howard was an owner operator Long Haul truck driver for 40 years he loved this and really missed it when he had to retire due to his health. After retirement his favorite thing to do was to do woodworking making things and visiting with his friends and family.
Howard and Diana married in 2001 and had a wonderful 17 years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lenard and Mildred Defibaugh.
He will be missed by his wife Diana, three daughters,, Kris Albertson and her wife Nancy, Brandi and her husband Tim Secrist, and Jessica Defibaugh. Four granddaughters, Kirsten Albertson and her fiance Courtney Terry, Charleston and her husband Weston Jarvis, Brandon Barrett and Heather Lange. One grandson Joe Lange. One great grandson Jaxon Jarvis, and one great-granddaughter Aubrianne Terry. Many nieces and nephews, cousins and great friends.
A memorial service will be held October 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the home of David and Claudia Southern in their beautiful backyard.
