    Charles Dean Peacock, 87, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, surrounded by family in his home in Winnsboro, Texas. Born January 13, 1931, to Finis W. and Wanda Dean Peacock in Cleburne, Texas, Charlie spent his childhood there and graduated from Cleburne High School in 1948.  With an interest in engineering, Charlie then entered Texas A&M University, where he served in the Corps of Cadets.  He interrupted his university career for four years to serve in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.  He exited the USAF as a Staff Sergeant who had been awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.  Charlie returned to Texas A&M and graduated with…
