Heaven gained another angel Friday, Nov. 30, 2018. Ruby was born Oct. 31, 1954 to Nancy and Carriel Bison. Though she was born in Corsicana she spent most of her younger years living between Florida and Texas, before marring and raising a family in Kerens. Ruby loved country living, being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, a good smelling man and an occasional sip of good whiskey.
Ruby was proceeded in death by her parents, Nancy and Carriel; the love of her life, Sammy Brock; son-in-law, Raymond Hall and her granddaughter, Krissy.
She is survived by her kiddos, Shelby and Tony Kuta of Kerens; step-daughter, Becky Frizzell of Laural, Mississippi; Dowell and Tammy Baker of Jacksonville; sisters, Carol Murray and husband Johnny of Palestine, Ruth Baker of Corsicana; the inspiration and life behind her drive, her grandson Aj Kuta of Kerens; a host of nieces and nephews and also a very special friend, Jack Marshall.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 at Paschal Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at the Kerens First Baptist Church with Bro. Bob Carroll officiating. Interment to follow in the Prairie Point Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Curtis McNeese, David Wolf, David Foreman, James Green, Kaell Mullin, Terry Bobbitt, Clay Foreman and Terry Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers are Sammy West, Ricky Trull, Cliff Foreman Don Hagens and Clint Horn.
