    Daniel Lee Kennedy Sr., of Granbury, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018.  A memorial service will be held in July. Daniel was born in Seguin, TX on September 15th, 1940 to Stephen James Kennedy and Helen Kopplin.  “Dynamite” had an early penchant for getting into trouble.  Feeling the need to serve his country, Daniel served five years in the U.S. Navy.  Finding out that he could walk farther than he could swim, Daniel joined the U.S. Army.  Retiring after twenty-one years from the U.S. Army, he proudly accomplished two tours in Vietnam, and survived working at the Pentagon.  He married the love of his life, Eloise Davidson, and they…

    Bobbye Ruth Draper Petty was born at Midway just south of Tahoka in the farmhouse near the railroad tracks on September 29, 1936, to Howard & Ruth Vick Draper. Not long after Bobbye enrolled at Abilene Christian College, a handsome young cowboy from San Angelo changed the course of her life and paved the way for her life’s passion – the role of Christian wife, mother, grandmother and Godly servant. A military veteran, Jack served his country during the Korean War and completed two tours in Vietnam to support US military efforts. He served as a Avionics Equipment Maintenance Mechanic/Supervisor in the United States Army for 29 years. During his service, Jack earned numerous medals including the Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Medal and Meritorious Service Medal.
