Teresa Lynn Lowery-Armstrong, born August 18, 1959 was called home unexpectedly in the early morning hours of March 18, 2019. She was born in Crockett to parents, Johnnie Lee Lowery and Rinthie Jean Reed Lowery. Teresa was a silent advocate for human kind. She was soft hearted and loving allowing her to see the good in any person, never met a stranger and made anyone feel like an old friend. Teresa turned her love of people into a career becoming a certified nurse’s aide, enjoying it fully until she could no longer perform the physical demands the job required. Teresa also showed her compassion and good character through her love of animals big and small. Her foremost desire being, to enjoy life while doing what she could to help improve the lives of others around her.
Teresa leaves behind daughter, Hillary Armstrong and husband, Christopher Maxey of Crockett; granddaughter, Cherokee Armstrong of Crockett; parents, Johnie and Rinthie Lowery of Crockett; brother, John Lowery and wife, Melba of Grapeland; nephews, Jason Lowery of Grapeland, James Lowery and wife, Christine of Kennard; great nieces and nephews, numerous beloved uncles, cousins, and an abundance of friends and chosen family.
