BROWNSWORD, Linda Apr 30, 1948 – Oct 25, 2020

Linda Ward Brownsword, 72, of Blum, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 30, 1948, in Hugo, Oklahoma to her parents, William and Patsy Ward. Linda had a fighting spirit and an enthusiasm for adventure. She had a passion for literature and the written word. She could be often found with her books and other treasures. Linda had a strong belief in questioning and challenging yourself and your surroundings. She always wanted to learn more and to share her discoveries with her husband and best friend, Tony. Linda was a student of life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Patsy Ward; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Dorothy Brownsword; and her brother-in-law, Andrew Brownsword.
Linda is survived by her husband of 47 ½ years, Tony Brownsword; daughter, Kate Brownsword; brothers, Billy Ward and his wife, Melissa, and James Ward; sister, Tina Ward; aunt, Wilma Lea Berryhill; uncle, Lloyd Ward and his wife, Mary Ann; sister-in-law, Susan Brownsword; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on 2020-10-30 at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX, USA.
