He leaves behind his childhood love of his life, Carol, after being married 30 years. He was born in Salem, NJ and lived in the same house in Pennsville, NJ. until he went to work with DuPont.     Billy Wells Holt, 91, of Granbury, passed away December 7, 2018. Born March 9, 1927 in Saginaw, Texas, to Lee Juett and Lorene Holt, Bill grew up in Fort Worth. He retired as postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service in 1982. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy, seaman first class from 1944–1946; owned/operated Irving Window Cleaning Company for 25 years; a member of Masonic Lodge, First Presbyterian Church in Granbury serving as elder from 1982–1988; and the Indian Harbor Volunteer Fire Department.
