    Vernon Gene Simpson, born January 5, 1933 in Hamilton County, Texas to parents Robert and Nora (Rainwater) Simpson, Sr., passed away in Glen Rose, Texas on September 7, 2018 at age 85. Preceding Vernon in death are his parents, brothers R.T. Simpson, Jr., Earl Simpson and Lester Simpson. Surviving Vernon are sons David Gene Simpson of Mansfield, Texas, and Barry Layne Simpson and wife Jeannie of Glen Rose, Texas. Also surviving Vernon are one sister, Leona Box, of Hamilton, Texas seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family members and friends.

    Bobby Ray “Bob” Craig, born November 25, 1936 to parents J.D. Ida (Lester) Craig in Iredell, Texas, passed away in Hico, Texas on August 25, 2018 at age 81. Preceding Bob in death are his parents, infant son Johnny Ray Craig, daughter Linda Diane Cheatham, and sister Quata Wilkerson.     Ila Hamilton, born July 27, 1922 to parents Elmer and Myrle (Trantham) Bullard in Hico Teaxs, passed away, August 16, 2018 at age 96. Ila was a member of Duffau Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sibling, daughter Bonnie Whitney, great grandson Kyle Bullard, and the love of her life, Robert Hamilton.     Terry Lee Nelson went to be with his Lord on August 11, 2018, after a lengthy illness. Terry was born on March 17, 1953. Terry is preceded in death by his mother, one brother and one daughter.
